40KM TIME TRIALS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

We now have an 8 person multirider computrainer set-up at the University. This means that 8 riders can race each other over a set distance (40km) and get some really useful information (power output, heart rate, time taken, position in the group, cadence) and more...

I would like to open this up to any riders that fancy giving this a go. Initially, this will be over a 2 week period, with more dates in the future, but for now:

Monday 13th July: 4-7pm
Wednesday 15th July: 4-7pm
Friday 17th July: 4-7pm
Monday 20th July: 4-7pm
Wednesday 22nd July: 4-7pm
Friday 24th July: 4-7pm

The computrainer is basically a turbo trainer linked to a computer that can give you a lot of data, and with 8 - they all link up. So for the TT's, you will need to bring in your bike and calibrate it before use (doesn't take long).

This is for ANYONE at Falkirk bike club that fancies giving this a go (for FREE).

For those of you who are interested in participating in my training study in the off season, it will be a great opportunity to meet up and chat about the study and give the equipment a go.

So if you are interested, please let me know what time you want to arrive (any time from 4-7 on the dates given) and we can go from there. Any other questions, please email me.

Look forward to hearing from you
